VAT is a premium, 100% active, powdered, heavy-duty hot tank cleaner and stripper for iron, steel, titanium, and magnesium. Rapidly removes grease, dirt, oil, loose carbon deposits, engine varnish, light rust, engine enamels and paints. Equally effective in both hard and soft water. Contains alkalies, a high level of biodegradable emulsifier for enhanced cleaning and prolonged vat life, corrosion inhibitors and a special “chelating” agent that helps remove paint, prevent flash rusting and inhibits the formation of rust sludge.
APPLICATIONS
Recommended for machine shops, diesel shops, compressor rebuilders, remanufacturers, etc...
For light to medium duty cleaning, use at a rate of ½ to 1 pound per gallon of water. For heavy-duty cleaning and stripping, use at a rate of 1 to 2 pounds per gallon of water. Heat solution to 180 F to 200 F.
DO NOT use on aluminum or galvanized metals as damage will occur.
