CIP SYSTEMS: Flush system with cold water. Prepare a solution of 4 ounces per gallon of water. Circulate through system until soils are loosened and removed as determined by inspection. Drain and rinse thoroughly with potable hot water.
MANUAL CLEANING: Use gloves and protective clothing to prevent skin contact. Use 1-2 ounces per gallon of hot water and wash down equipment with brush. Rinse thoroughly.
STEAM/HIGH PRESSURE CLEANING: Use 2-4 ounces per gallon of hot water and spray onto soiled areas. Rinse thoroughly.
USDA INSPECTED MEAT PLANTS: Remove or cover all foodstuff and packaging materials before use. Dilute 1-2 ounces per gallon of hot water. Apply to surface with brush or sponge. Soak 3-5 minutes. May need to agitate heavy deposits as needed. Rinse with potable water and apply a suitable
