A powdered chlorine bleach designed primarily for white fabrics. It will whiten, brighten and remove most stains. Especially designed for cotton, linen, nylon, polyester (Dacron), acrylic (Orlon) and blends of these. Use with regular detergent as directed. Always wash colored articles separately from whites. Do not apply to damp or colored fabrics.
Where loads contain greater amounts of oxidizable material, greater additions of HAWK will be required. Cleaner loads, where there is less soil to be oxidized and fewer stains, can be washed satisfactorily with a reduced amount of bleach.
DIRECTIONS FOR USE: Recommended concentration is:
Start with: ½ scoop (1oz.) - Top Loading Machines 1 scoop (2oz.) - Front Loading Machines In other applications use ½ cup to 100lbs. of dry clothes.
Do not mix Dry Bleach with Detergents prior to washing.
DO NOT USE ON: Silk, wool, mohair, lycra, spandex, leather, acetate, rayon, wash and wear or permanent press finishes, and non fast colors. Add HAWK after machine has filled and cycle started. This compound may be harmful to eyes. In case of contact with eyes, flush with water for at least 15 minutes. May cause severe damage if taken internally. If swallowed, get medical attention.
PHYSICAL AND CHEMICAL HAZARDS:l STRONG, OXIDIZING AGENT.
Use only clean dry utensils and mix with water only. Mixing other chemicals or gross filth (urine, feces, etc.) Will start a chemical reaction resulting in the release of toxic gases, heat, and possibly fire. In case of decomposition, isolate container in open air if possible, and flood with large volumes of water.
